good day to die hard

A Good Day to Die Hard is a 2013 American action film directed by John Moore and written by Skip Woods. It is the fifth installment of the Die Hard film series. Bruce Willis reprises the lead role of John McClane, who travels to Russia to help his estranged son, Jack (Jai Courtney), out of prison, but is soon caught in the crossfire of a terrorist plot. Talks of a fourth sequel to Die Hard began before the release of Live Free or Die Hard (2007), with Willis affirming that the latter would not be the last in the series, but pre-production did not start until September 2011 when John Moore was officially announced as the director. Filming began in April 2012, primarily in Budapest, Hungary. A Good Day to Die Hard premiered in Los Angeles on January 31, 2013, coinciding with the unveiling of a Die Hard mural at the Fox Lot, and was released in certain East and Southeast Asian territories on February 7, with its release in the United States and Canada scheduled for February 14. It is the first Die Hard film to use Dolby Atmos Surround Mixing and the first to also be released in IMAX theaters. Former police officer and detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) travels to Russia to help his son, Jack (Jai Courtney), who has been arrested after assassinating Anton (Roman Luknár), a subordinate of Chagarin (Sergei Kolesnikov), a high-ranking but corrupt Russian official, who is planning on incriminating political prisoner and government whistleblower Yuri Komarov (Sebastian Koch) without a fair trail; he is looking to get hold of a file believed to be in Komarov's possession. While in court standing trial, an explosion occurs. Jack breaks free with Komarov. John, who happens to be near the courthouse at the time, confronts Jack. Their confrontation turns heated and draws the attention of Chagarin's henchman, Alik (Radivoje Bukvić). John, Jack and Komarov manage to escape but not with Alik and his gang chasing after them. John manages to stall some time for Jack and Komarov. After a neck-to-neck car chase between John and Alik results in both of their vehicles crashing violently, only John survives unscathed, while Alik and his crew sustain injuries. Jack drives back to pick John up and they drive to a safe house. It is then revealed that Jack is an agent working for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). At the safe house, another CIA operative asks Komarov about the file's whereabouts. The file is said to have incriminating evidence against Chagarin, which is what the CIA needs. Komarov recalls having kept the key to the vault at the place where he and his wife "shared their first dance" – a building in Ukraine. While changing attire, the safe house comes under attack, with the CIA operative being killed. Jack detonates a large portion of the building, while John kills off the remaining terrorists. The trio eventually escape and make their way to the key's hiding place; Komarov has made a call to his daughter, Irina, to meet him there too. When they arrive, John grows suspicious of Irina; his suspicions are proven to be not unfounded when Alik and his men crash in and tie John and Jack up. Irina confesses to snitching on them for the "millions of dollars". Because of a hidden knife, Jack manages to break free of his ropes. Following a series of arms exchange, Alik hurriedly runs to the helipad on the rooftop and leaves on the helicopter with Irina and Komarov, who is under hostage. John and Jack are attacked by incoming fire from the helicopter but they yet again escape but crashing out of the windows; Jack is shot in the process. The father and son share a light moment while John pulls out a bullet. Later that day, they steal a car and drive to the file's hiding place as was earlier revealed by Komarov at the safe house. Alik gets there before they do — the hiding place is actually a large vault housing crates of enriched uranium. Komarov shoots Alik in the head, showing that there had been no file in existence and he has been masquerading the whole plot ever since. He attempts to fly away with boxes of uranium, but John and Jack soon discovers about his true plot and take him away. Irina learns that John and Jack have learnt their secret and hurriedly comes to her father's rescue. After a heavy gunfire exchange, Jack goes after Yuri while John goes after Irina who is escaping on a helicopter. He kills everyone except for Irina, who tries to protect her father from being killed by Jack. However, Jack survives the shootout and hurls Komarov off the rooftop, where he collides with Irina's helicopter rotors and is gorily killed. John falls off the helicopter he was clinging onto but narrowly survives and reunites with Jack. Wanting to avenge her father, Irina rams into the building the father and son are in. John and Jack then jump off the building just as the helicopter catches fire and explodes, killing Irina in the process. They land into a tank of water; Jack frantically calls for John when he fails to find him, and for one of the first times in the film, addresses John as "Dad". John is revealed to have survived and he had actually gotten out of the tank first. Glad that their ordeal is over, they return to New York. At the airport, they meet Lucy (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), John's oldest child and Jack's sister. They happily walk off together.

day of the falcon

Emir Nesib (Antonio Banderas), Sultan of a group of tribes and Sultan Amar (Mark Strong) of Salma have a dispute with their border. Both have been fighting war for a vast barren land they call "The Yellow Belt". Emir Nesib decides to put an end to the war by striking a deal with Sultan Amar. They meet and make a peace pact, deciding that the Yellow Belt belongs to neither and should be left as a no man's land. As a guarantee, Emir Nesib takes Sultan Amar's kids Saleh and Auda so that Sultan would not break the pact. Sultan, though reluctant, but being a god fearing and orthodox person, agrees, when Nesib promises him that the kids will be treated as Nesib's own along with his kids Tariq and Leyla. Saleh is free spirited while Auda is an introvert who is always into books. Leyla and Auda become good friends until Leyla's caretaker intervenes and asks her to stop meeting men as she is becoming adolescent. Years pass and the kids grow up. Auda (Tahar Rahim) is still the bookworm, while Saleh (Akin Gazi) hopes to see his father someday. Nesib starts to get worried as he does not have enough money and there is nothing around him but desert and sand. Sam Thurkettle (Corey Johnson), a geologist working for a western oil firm called Texan Oil, meets Nesib after making some survey in the Yellow Belt. Nesib initially refuses to believe Sam saying that there is only sand and nothing else. Sam shows him a piece of black shale and convinces Nesib that it is an indication of crude oil beneath the ground. He explains Nesib that crude oil is very valuable and if Nesib lets him extract oil, his company would pay him phenomenal money, that would make him richer than the Queen of England. Nesib accepts the offer and lets the westerners to extract oil from the yellow belt, thus violating the peace pact. Money slowly starts to pour in and Nesib starts to modernize his country by building schools and hospitals. Nesib makes Auda the national librarian and Tariq their Colonel. He send his envoy to Amar to strike a deal to extract oil from the yellow belt. Meanwhile, some radicals attack one of the oil sites and kill the crew. Nesib learns that it is the act of his other tribes men and manages to convince all his tribes to accept oil extraction by gifting them valuables. The envoy returns and tells Nesib that Amar considers the exploitation of yellow belt a violation of the treaty. Saleh tells Auda that he can convince their father (Amar) and decides to leave without informing anyone. Halfway through, Saleh kills his support staff and flees the scene. Nesib, desperate to gain from the oil, decides to marry Auda to his daughter Leyla (Freida Pinto). Auda reluctantly agrees as he is convinced that it is a plot so that Amar will not attack Nesib. Meanwhile Saleh is caught and Tariq kills him accusing him of treason. Nesib decides to send Auda to convince Amar for using the yellow belt. Auda meets Amar, who is surprised to learn that Auda has come as a representative of Nesib. Auda learns more about his father during his stay there. Amar tells Auda that Nesib offered 5% of the earnings but he refused the offer. When Auda tries to explain to him, he says that everything in his home is made either out of blood or love, but not money and that money has no value. The following day a meeting is held with Amar's allies. They say that by letting foreigners extract oil they let themselves destructed, while Auda successfully convinces them by saying if god had not meant it for them to use, he wouldn't have given it in their soil. Everybody is convinced. Amar and Auda team up and devise a plan that will help Amar attack and gain control of the Yellow Belt. Auda makes up a team and unites other tribes as well. They slowly start attacking oil fields and in the ensuing battle Tariq is killed. He meets Sheikh of Beni Sirri tribe and during the meeting the Sheikh beats Aichi (Liya Kebede), a slave girl, brutally. Auda tries to protest and an argument ensues, leaving Auda to handcuff and disgrace the leaders of Beni Sirri tribe and freeing the slaves. Amar arrives and meets Auda, who reveals that he has united all the other tribes and intends to keep the yellow belt for them. During the discussion, Amar is shot dead by the Beni Sirri tribe. Learning about the developments, Nesib accepts Auda as the prince. The film ends with Auda holding a meeting with several foreigners presumably with oil companies.

dark skies

The series presents the idea that 20th century history as people know it is a lie. It depicts aliens having been among humans since the late 1940s, with a government cover-up concealing their existence from the public. As the series progresses, viewers follow John Loengard and Kim Sayers through the 1960s as they attempt to foil the plots of the alien "Hive". The Hive is an alien race that planned to invade Earth through a manipulation of historical events and famous figures, including most notably the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. In addition, the pair must stay one step ahead of Majestic 12, a covert government agency that has mixed motives. The show depicted a number of real-life 1960s personalities in the plot, such as The Beatles, Robert Kennedy, Jim Morrison, and J. Edgar Hoover. The series was cancelled before the end of the first season, due to low ratings. Although the last episode produced provides some form of closure for the series, with Kim Sayers becoming possessed by the Hive and the head of Majestic 12 being apparently assassinated, the show's creators had originally hoped to create five seasons, as indicated by the show's "Bible" or major planning document.[1] According to Zabel and Friedman's original plan, the pilot and first season (given the overall title "Official Denial") would cover the period from 1961 to 1969, the second season ("Progenitor") 1970 to 1976, the third season ("Cloak of Fear") 1977 to 1986, the fourth season ("New World Order") would cover 1987 to 1999, and the fifth and final season ("Stroke of Midnight") would break from the decade-spanning format to encompass the apocalyptic final conflict against the invaders, taking place from 2000 to 2001.

FAST AND FURIOUS 6

The Fast and the Furious is a series of action films which centers on illegal street racing and heists. Produced by Universal Studios, the series was established in 2001 with the eponymous first installment, which has since been followed by four sequels, and two short films that tie into the series.
The film is loosely based on a magazine article, titled "Racer X", about street clubs that race Japanese cars late at night. Elite street racer and ex-convict Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his crew: Jesse (Chad Lindberg), Leon (Johnny Strong), Vince (Matt Schulze) and Dominic's girlfriend Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), are under suspicion of stealing expensive electronic equipment. Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is an undercover police officer who attempts to find out who exactly is stealing the equipment, working for FBI agent Bilkins (Thom Barry) and LAPD officer Tanner (Ted Levine). Falling for Dominic's younger sister, Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), Brian later confesses to her his status as an undercover cop and convinces her to come with him to save her brother and his friends from the armed truck drivers. He tracks Dominic's location by triangulating his cell phone signal and they arrive at the hijacking in-progress to find Letty, badly injured at the car accident, and Vince critically wounded, having lacerated his arm and been shot by the truck driver. Brian and Mia work together with Dominic, Leon and Letty to rescue Vince. Brian then makes the difficult decision to blow his cover to the crew by phoning in for a medivac. The revelation enrages Dominic, but he contains himself and flees with Leon, Letty and Mia as the medivac arrives for Vince. Brian follows Dominic to his house and holds him at gunpoint to prevent him from fleeing. Jesse arrives shortly afterwards, apologizing for his actions at Race Wars and pleading for Dominic's help with Johnny Tran (Rick Yune). Moments later, Tran and his cousin Lance Nguyen (Reggie Lee) perform a drive-by shooting, killing Jesse. Brian and Dominic chase them, with Dominic driving his late father's modified 1970 Dodge Charger. Dominic forces Lance's motorcycle off the road, severely injuring him, while Brian shoots and kills Tran. Afterwards, Brian and Dominic engage in an impromptu street race, narrowly avoiding a passing train. Dominic collides with a semi-truck and rolls his car twice, injuring himself, and rendering the Charger un-drivable. Instead of arresting him, Brian hands over the keys to his Supra and lets Dominic escape, using the line "I owe you a ten second car". After the credits, Dominic is seen driving through Baja California, Mexico in a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.

WALKING WITH DINOSAURS

Walking with Dinosaurs is a six-part documentary television miniseries that was produced by BBC, narrated by Kenneth Branagh, and first aired in the United Kingdom, in 1999. The series was subsequently aired in North America on the Discovery Channel in 2000, with Branagh's voice replaced with that of Avery Brooks. It is the first entry of the Walking with... series and used computer-generated imagery and animatronics to recreate the life of the Mesozoic, showing dinosaurs and their contemporaries in a way that previously had only been seen in feature films. The programme's aim was to simulate the style of a nature documentary and therefore does not include "talking head" interviews. The series used palaeontologists such as Michael Benton, Thomas R. Holtz, Jr., Peter Dodson, Peter Larson and James Farlow as advisors (their influence in the filming process can be seen in the documentary The Making of Walking with Dinosaurs). The Guinness Book of World Records reported that the series was the most expensive documentary series per minute ever made.[citation needed] A 3D movie based on the series is currently being produced by BBC Films and 20th Century Fox. In a list of the 100 Greatest British Television Programmes drawn up by the British Film Institute in 1999, voted on by industry professionals, Walking with Dinosaurs was placed 72nd. The series won three Emmy Awards: Outstanding Animated Program, Outstanding Special Visual Effects and Outstanding Achievement in Non-Fiction Programming – Sound Editing. CommonSense Media greatly praised the program, giving it five stars out of five and saying that, "Somebody had a great idea, which was to make a documentary series about dinosaurs, but with a twist. The aging Ornithocheirus on a desperate final flight to his mating grounds, the sauropod hatchlings struggling for survival in the late Jurassic, the migrating herds and the undersea life of 150 million years ago would all seem as real as a nature program about polar bears or snow monkeys." This technique of narrating the prehistoric life as though it were current proved to have a lasting impact,[according to whom?] and has been used several times since, for example in the BBC's 2011 Planet Dinosaur series.

Jurrasic Park 3D

Jurassic Park is a 1993 American science fiction adventure film directed by Steven Spielberg, and is based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. It stars Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Richard Attenborough, Ariana Richards, Joseph Mazzello, Martin Ferrero and Bob Peck. The film centers on the fictional Isla Nublar near Costa Rica's Pacific Coast, where a billionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists have created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs. Before Crichton's book was even published, many studios had already begun bidding to acquire the picture rights. Spielberg, with the backing of Universal Studios, acquired the rights before publication in 1990, and Crichton was hired for an additional $500,000 to adapt the novel for the screen. David Koepp wrote the final draft, which left out much of the novel's exposition and violence, and made numerous changes to the characters. Filming took place in California and Hawaii. Jurassic Park is regarded as a landmark in the use of computer-generated imagery, and received positive reviews from most critics. During its release, the film grossed over $900 million worldwide, becoming the highest grossing film released up to that time (surpassing E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, itself a Steven Spielberg film, and surpassed four years later by Titanic), and it is currently the 24th-highest-grossing feature film (adjusted for inflation, it is the 20th-highest-grossing film in North America). It is the highest grossing film produced by Universal and directed by Spielberg. It won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Visual Effects. Owing to the film's success, two sequels were made: The Lost World: Jurassic Park directed by Spielberg as well, which was released on May 23, 1997, and Jurassic Park III, directed by Joe Johnston, which was released on July 18, 2001. A 3D re-release is due for April 5, 2013, to commemorate the movie's 20th Anniversary. Jurassic Park IV in 3D is slated to be released on June 13, 2014.

identity thief

Identity theft is serious business. According to FTC estimates, as many as 9 million Americans have their identities stolen each year. It can lead to irreparable damage to your credit, hurt you when you’re applying for jobs or loans, and cause immense emotional and psychological distress. And if your identity is stolen by Melissa McCarthy, it can also lead to getting punched in the throat. At least that’s what we’re led to believe based on the first trailer for the new film, Identity Thief. The movie stars McCarthy as a trashy con artist and Jason Bateman as her hapless victim who decides that he’s going to bring her down. Originally, the role that McCarthy is playing was written for a male, but Bateman insisted that the part be changed after he saw McCarthy’s breakout role in the blockbuster comedy Bridesmaids. Based on the above trailer, the move seems to have paid off. Fans of Bridesmaids know that McCarthy is a spitfire of an actress and nobody does deadpan better than Jason Bateman, which is why they work together so wonderfully. While McCarthy’s frizzy-haired crook may look like a hobbit (as Bateman’s character describes her), it’s clear that she’s not going to give up her ill-gotten gains easily and that should lead to quite a fun and funny roadtrip comedy. Identity Thief, which was formerly titled ID Theft, is directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and was written by Steve Conrad (The Pursuit of Happyness) with subsequent rewrites by Craig Mazin (Hangover 2, Hangover 3). In addition to McCarthy and Bateman, Identity Thief stars Amanda Peet, John Cho, Eric Stonestreet and Jon Favreau.

hansel and gretel

Eun-soo, a salesman, is driving his car along Highway 69 while talking on the phone with his four-weeks pregnant girlfriend, Hae-young. She tells him to stay by her side for the remainder of her pregnancy, but he replies that his mother is ill and he has to visit her, leading to a quarrel as Eun-soo is driving and causing him to hit a rock and pass out. He wakes up to find himself stranded in a dark forest. He sees light from a lantern that a young girl is carrying. She introduces herself as Young-hee as they head for her house, a large house in the middle of the forest called the "House of Happy Children".
Her parents, older brother Man-bok and younger sister Jung-soon are waiting on the porch when they arrive. Eun-soo finds the children following his every move the following day. He decides to leave, but returns because it is getting dark. As he tries to leave again, he discovers that the parents are leaving, and they tell him to take care of the kids.
He soon learns from their mother, who is hiding in the attic, that they are not the children's real parents. Their car broke down on Highway 69 too, and they met Jung-soon when they explored the woods. She tells him not to believe the children. As Eun-soo makes his way out again the next day, he sees Man-bok and a couple approaching the house. The man, Byun is a seemingly amicable deacon while his wife has a malicious aura about her. Eun-soo keeps looking for clues, finding that the meat they had consumed was actually the flesh of the missing 'father' and his wife had turned into a china doll. He also notices that Byun's wife had disappeared after accusing Jung-soon for stealing her ring. At night, he secretly follows Man-bok into the woods, making a trail of breadcrumbs so he wouldn't get lost. He realizes Byun's wife had turned into an oak tree.
Man-bok stops in front of a mysterious door to a room, putting down the notebook that the siblings have been working on throughout the movie. His face changes to an old man's face as he passes the door. When he leaves, Eun-soo enters the room and looks over the notebook's contents, finding out that the children are over thirty years old. Suddenly Young-hee comes in sleepwalking, and as they talk, Eun-soo looks at her face which has become an old woman's. Eun-soo backs in shock, hitting bookcases in the room and causing notes to fall off the shelves. As he reads the notes, the reason Man-bok wanted to get rid of the couple who used to be his 'parents' is revealed. The husband did nothing but quarrel with his wife when Jung-soon accidentally stepped on shards of broken glass while playing, angering Man-bok who used his powers to cut the husband's fingers and drop them into the boiling pan. Since their awareness of Man-bok's powers, the couple tried not to mess up, or they would end up dead.
Eun-soo sees more of the children's drawings in the notebook, such as a woman with mutilated limbs, a woman turned into an oak tree, a woman in a dress with red crayons splattered on her face and a man resembling himself laying on the grass beside the red flowers he had seen on his way out. He realizes that the last depiction foretells his end and is determined stop the children before they murder him.
Meanwhile, Young-hee returns to the house upon hearing Byun singing. Eun-soo heads back too and learns that Byun is a religious cult leader trying to kill the children, and he is holding Jung-soon hostage. He knocks Byun out and listens to the children's side of the story from Young-hee in the form of a flashback.
The kids lived in an orphanage called the "House of Happy Children". The abusive caretaker raped the girls and beat the boys. Man-bok tried to save his friend Seung-ho from being beaten for spilling food, but he failed and Seung-ho was locked in a dark room. Young-hee and Jung-soon once tried to escape but came back, ending in Young-hee going into the caretaker's room to save Jung-soon from being raped. One Christmas Eve, they wondered if Santa Claus would give them presents, because they thought they weren't good that year. This led to Man-bok activating his powers, which he only realized the next morning when Santa Claus did come and told the siblings that their wishes could come true just by imagining it, and he gave them a Hansel and Gretel storybook. They believed they must reenact the story to all bad adults. The three of them then witnessed Seung-ho being forced into a sack, where he was beaten to death. Man-bok felt that this must stop. They sneaked up to the locked room which Man-bok unlocked just by imagining it. They tried to give candy to their friends inside but realized that they were all dead. The caretaker found them and was going to burn them in the fireplace, but Man-bok screamed, bringing the story back to the present as he screams when Byun rises to kill Eun-soo, causing a whirlwind in both the flashback and the present which throws the caretaker into the fireplace, and Byun is stabbed to death.
The winds stop and the children ask Eun-soo to stay with them. Eun-soo rejects them for his loved ones and suggests taking the children outside with him. The children refuse, saying adults will always be bad. Eun-soo argues that if they continued their doings, they would be bad adults too. Young-hee suddenly whispers, "Burn the notebook, so you can get out of here." He does so before Man-bok can stop him, and Eun-soo glances at the crying children as the book burns.
Eun-soo wakes up in the location Young-hee found him at. He walks up the road and sees the police, who tell him the tragic stories of Highway 69, and that they are amazed at his survival.
A year later on Christmas, Eun-soo has married Hae-young, and they have a baby boy. Hae-young asks Eun-soo to go buy milk. As he goes out, he wonders if his encounter was real or if it was a dream. His collection of news clippings of Deacon Byun (now revealed to be a serial killer and religious cult leader) who is apparently missing suggests that it was real. He comes across the same notebook that the children used and browses it. The pages are blank until the last page, which shows three children dressed like Man-bok, Young-hee, and Jung-soon all holding hands and smiling. The children had given up and realized that they didn't need parents to be a family. Eun-soo looks out the window and outside in the snow, Man-bok, Young-hee, and Jung-soon turn around and make their way back into the woods.

abduction

Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) is an 18-year old teenager living in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his parents Kevin (Jason Isaacs) and Mara (Maria Bello). He has been troubled by recurring nightmares, and has been seeing psychiatrist Dr. Geraldine "Geri" Bennett (Sigourney Weaver) to diagnose them. At school, Nathan is teamed with Karen Murphy (Lily Collins) for a research project on missing children. Karen discovers a website that uses age-progression technology to see what a child would look like as they get older. Nathan uses a photo of Steven Price and finds the resemblance to himself uncanny. Worried, he goes back home and looks through his childhood possessions and finds a shirt that matches the one in Steven's photo. He attempts to make contact with the operator of the website with Steven's picture to learn more. While waiting for a response, he finds more oddities about his childhood, including that his parents only appear to have a handful of pictures of him growing up. When he approaches Mara about this, she emotionally reveals that he was adopted. While Nathan angrily returns to his room, two men, claiming to be from the FBI arrive. Mara immediately attacks them, but soon is shot by one of the men. Kevin, alerted by the battle, subdues one of the men, but is killed while telling Nathan to run. Nathan runs but returns for Karen, who is now captured by the remaining agent. Nathan rescues her and demands the agent explain who he is. The agent agrees to talk but says there's a bomb in the oven. Sure enough, there it is, with 8 seconds left. Nathan and Karen race outdoors and are blown into the pool, which saves them from the enormous explosion. Nathan takes Karen to the hospital for a minor cut, while he attempts to contact the police. Instead, his call is intercepted by CIA operative Frank Burton (Alfred Molina), who tells Nathan he is in danger and will send two men to collect him. As Nathan waits, Dr. Bennett appears with a bunch of balloons, and helps him and Karen to escape without being seen by the security cameras. In her car, Dr. Bennett explains that Nathan's biological father, Martin (Dermot Mulroney), stole an encrypted list of 25 corrupt CIA operatives from the Serbian terrorist Nikola Kozlow (Michael Nyqvist); Kozlow now plans on abducting Nathan to coerce Martin to hand over the list. Nathan has been purposely given to his adoptive parents to hide him from Kozlow, but his identity was revealed after using the missing child website, a ruse created by Kozlow. Dr. Bennett gives Nathan an address to a safe house in Arlington, Virginia, and tells him to trust only two others, his father Martin and a man named Paul Rasmus. She provides a distraction from Kozlow's men who are following them to allow Nathan and Karen to escape. Meanwhile, Burton is warned by his superior to end the situation as soon as possible once he learns of Bennett, a former CIA operative, being involved. Arriving at the safehouse, the two regroup, and find money, a gun, a photo of Nathan's biological mother Lorna Price (Elisabeth Röhm), and a cell phone. After learning that Lorna has died, Nathan and Karen pay a visit to her grave, and are surprised to find fresh flowers there. Karen sweet-talks the graveyard attendant to reveal the sender, a Paul Rasmus who lives in Nebraska. Knowing that they would be stopped at an airport, the two take to a passenger train to get there, using fake IDs provided by their friend Gilly (Denzel Whitaker). They are unaware they are followed by Kozlow's right-hand man aboard the train. He abducts Karen as she goes for food, and when Nathan finds her absent, is able to defend himself from his attack. Nathan gets the upper hand using fighting techniques from his adoptive father, and subdues the man, and then pushes him out from the train after taking his cell phone. Nathan finds Karen safe but soon the train abruptly stops due to the CIA. The two take off on foot but soon surrounded by Burton and his agents. Burton offers a meal at a diner to the two while he discusses the situation with them, all the while other CIA agents are posted as guard. Burton explains the data that Martin had stolen, and Nathan realizes that the phone from the safehouse contains that data; he also further surmises that Burton's name is on that list. As Burton tries to play that off, the agents are attacked by Kozlow's snipers. In the distraction, Nathan and Karen take off in a car before they can be caught. As they flee, the cell phone from Kozlow's man rings. Nathan finds Kozlow on the line, who warns him that he will kill Karen's parents if Nathan does not hand over the data. Nathan gets Kozlow to agree to make the transaction at a public event, at a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. During this call, Nathan realizes that he had witnessed his mother's death at Kozlow's hands when he was 3, the source of his nightmares. Nathan works with Gilly to arrange the tickets, including securing a hidden gun to one of the seats with the intent to kill Kozlow himself. As he enters the stadium, Martin calls him and warns him off, but Nathan refuses to listen. Meanwhile, when Kozlow arrives, Karen, in hiding, takes a photograph and sends it to Nathan so he can recognize Kozlow. The two meet, sit and watch the game. Kozlow tells how Nathan's biological mother died. Kozlow grabs the gun when Nathan is distracted and demands the list. Nathan bolts, Kozlow chases, and the CIA sees them in the crowd. Nathan is able to escape, and Martin, calling again, directs him to lead Kozlow to the south side of the park. Kozlow eventually catches up with Nathan but before he can kill the boy, Kozlow is killed by Martin, using a sniper rifle from a nearby parking structure. Burton, his superior, and the rest of his agents soon arrive, taking away Kozlow's body. Burton asks for the cell phone, promising to give the decrypted results to his superior; however, Martin had warned his superior about Burton's corruption, and takes the phone himself while Burton is taken into custody. Martin called Nathan one last time, apologizing for not being the father he should have been but will continue to watch over him. Bennett arrives with Karen, and says she has arranged for Nathan to live with her until he decides what to pursue in his life. As the movie ends, Nathan and Karen go on a long-awaited date in the empty ballpark.

24/7 inlove

24/7 inlove is basically an anthology of love stories. The romantic tale isn’t naturally suited to the anthology format, primarily because the emotions involved tend to require more time than a segment can provide. And true to form, some of these stories fail precisely for that reason. But there are also good bits in here, elevated by performance from the country’s brightest stars. 24/7 in Love is hit-and-miss at best, but some of these ideas are worth fleshing out.

Jane (Kathryn Bernardo) enters a video contest to win a chance to meet pop idol Billy Fernandez (Daniel Padilla). She goes around asking people on camera what they would do if the world were ending. The movie follows their stories from there.

In the first of these stories, Virginia (Pokwang) waited twenty years to be with the man she loves, only to be betrayed. Her best friend convinces her to hire callboy Charles (Sam Milby) to fulfill her long-buried desires.

Barbara (Maja Salvador) has a crush on her playboy boss Ken (Diether Ocampo). She finally gets to spend some time with him when a jilted ex leaves a baby in his care.

Isabelle (Bea Alonzo) secretly pines for her gay best friend Butch (Zanjoe Marudo). As he prepares to leave for fashion school in Milan, Isabelle tries everything she can to get him to stay with her.

Verna (Angelica Panganiban) travels to Vietnam, running away from an unfaithful spouse. There she meets bartender Elvis (John Lloyd Cruz), who offers a moment of distraction from her troubles.

Childlike Pipoy (Piolo Pascual) tries to help his little orphan buddy Jomar (Zaijan Jaranilla) win the heart of his crush Ayee (Xyriel Manabat).

And finally, low-level ad agency employee Patty (Kim Chiu) is tasked with finding the hunky young man who made headlines saving people from a fire. That guy happens be her high school sweetheart Alvin (Gerald Anderson), whose heart she broke years ago.

This Guys Inlove with you mare

Surprisingly, Wenn Deramas's new movie is tolerable. Unlike his previous films--Praybeyt Benjamin and Moron 5 and the Crying Lady--that are annoying and truly awful, This Guy's In Love With You Mare feels okay. Watching this won't make you lose brain cells. This movie's story is pretty common: Lester (Vice Ganda) gets depressed after Mike (Luis Manzano), his boyfriend of three years, leaves him for Gemma (Toni Gonzaga). In hopes of getting his macho stud back, he pretends to be a guy to court Gemma, so she would break up with Mike. What makes this movie okay is the abundance of smart jokes. There are many sight gags and hidden jokes in many scenes that are played with no hard effort. This is unlike the delivery of the jokes in Praybeyt and Moron 5, where jokes are stale but they go on and on. A few of these smart gags are: someone rolling down the stairs behind the main characters in a bar scene, Vice Ganda's photo wall, and Buboy Garrovillo's new hair. I forgot the rest. What makes this material soar is the presence of Vice Ganda, whose unique delivery of lines can make any dead joke damn hilarious. Still, you'd wish that he learns when he's already over-acting. Also, Vice's best scenes happen in the first half, when he's on a revenge streak. When he calms down and the movie gets dramatic, the film gets boring. The other lead characters, on the other hand, deliver shaky performances. Toni Gonzaga portrays her character to be smart, but then she fails to see Lester's true intent. Luis Manzano plays his character dumb at times, and smart at times, it gets confusing what is right. In fairness, this may not be the two actors' fault, but the director's. Other actors in this movie, meanwhile, are forgettable. Only Tessie Tomas makes a mark, but only because she puts on a rough Visayan accent that's hardly believable. All in all, This Guy's In Love With U Mare! is just okay. See it for Vice Ganda, whose the star of this film, after all.

Suddenky it's Magic

Suddenly It’s Magic is a mainstream romantic comedy film produced by Star Cinema. It stars Thai heartthrob Mario Maurer and Star Circle Quest 2005 grand champion Erich Gonzales.
Suddenly It’s Magic is not a Department of Tourism-sponsored movie though it displays the beauty of Ilocos Norte in all its glory. A character in the movie also proclaims “It’s More Fun in the Philippines,” a statement that prompted Mario Maurer’s character Marcus to visit the country and escape from his chaotic love life in Thailand.
He ends up in Laoag at the same hotel where expert cupcake maker and spurned bride Joey (played by Erich Gonzales) sells her products.
As if by magic, both characters – both betrayed by the love of their lives – coincidentally meet and inevitably fall in love.
There is little to dislike in Suddenly It’s Magic.
The requisite i-hate-you then i-love-you dynamic between Marcus and Joey is depicted during the first part of the movie. Their stolen glances, their holding hands, the girl falling over the guy (literally and figuratively), and their sweet kisses all make the movie enchanting to watch.
Erich is more impressive when she is crying than when she is trying to be funny or cute.
Mario Maurer proves he’s not just a model with drop-dead good looks, he can also portray a character with charming sensitivity. Movie audiences will not only get lost in his pool of brown eyes, they will similarly be moved by the authenticity in his performance as a lovelorn “pilyo,” an actor who can’t seem to balance his professional and personal priorities.
Also in the cast is Joross Gamboa who plays Joey’s gay best friend. Joross is extremely engaging and funny to watch in this movie, proving he could have a very good career in comedy.
Joy Viado is hilarious as Marcus’ Filipina housekeeper Chinggay. Her character is the one responsible for Marcus’ decision to visit the Philippines – a detail that could be taken as the movie’s ode to the blessings Filipino OFWs bring to the country.
Jestoni Alarcon, still young-looking despite playing Erich’s governor father, has a brief but prominent role.
Dinky Doo, Ces Quesada, and Cacai Bautista all add to the film’s entertainment value.
The movie also features Laoag’s scenic spots as well as the Philippines’ “fun” culture. The tranquil beauty and Buddhist tradition of Thailand is also depicted in this movie.
Mario Maurer is adorable as he performs, or at least tries to, a traditional Filipino folkdance. He also looks adorable as he tries to scale a bamboo pole for a Pinoy game of palo-sebo.
This movie makes use of incredible coincidences to highlight dramatic plot points. Is it an accident that Joey happens to be at the same hotel where her former fiancé is proposing to his new girlfriend? Is it by chance that while looking for the comfort room, Joey finds herself inside the press conference being held for Marcus and his onscreen love partner?
These forced maneuvers make the story less believable.
Although the movie employs several languages--namely Thai, English and Tagalog as well as the Ilokano dialect--to tell the story, these differences did not in any way make the movie less appealing.
Similar to other Star Cinema films where character realizations are explained lengthily near the movie’s end, the same is seen in Joey’s conversation with her father as well as Marcus’ heart-to-heart exchange with his mother, causing the movie to lag towards the end. This makes it seem that the characters were delivering boring lectures and not dialogue.
Fortunately, the endearing qualities of the movie’s main performers made Suddenly It’s Magic a delight to watch.

One More Try

Having no children of their own, Jacqueline gives her blessings for Edward to reconnect with Grace to help save their son. The reconnection with Grace and Botchok starts to taint Edward's and Jacqueline's marriage. What becomes of relationships when a tangled web is woven? See the movie and find out.

D' Kilabots

This movie tries too hard to be liked. It takes itself very seriously, and it loses its humor as a result. D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers... Weh!? feels bipolar as a whole. There are two stories in the movie, and each is treated differently. Bruno (Wally Bayola) and Justine (Jose Manalo) are brothers who don't exactly like each other. The two are business rivals--Bruno sells lugaw (rice porridge), while Justine sells BBQ. The rivalry started when Bruno married Kitty (Pokwang), who was Justine's first love. As a result of the heartbreak, Justine grew a weird allergy to women. When a pretty balikbayan named Lulu (Solenn Heussaff) comes to the brothers' community, Justine is immediately smitten. Fortunately, Lulu also falls for him. Will this cure Justine's allergy? The story above already sounds complete, and should result in some hilarious sequences. And yet... This is where the movie falls apart: Lulu's dad Donald (Tirso Cruz III) is trying to settle a large debt with bigshot Mr. Lucio (Michael de Mesa). Desperate, Donald agrees to give Mr. Lucio his property. The problem is that the land has been paid for by its occupants, one of which is Justine's family. This second plot point is treated too seriously, and it does not fit the movie. In this narrative thread, the comedic tone the movie employs whenever Justine and Bruno are on screen is abandoned. Instead, we get a pseudo tragic treatment, as if we are watching an advocacy film about the injustices faced by informal settlers. I watched this movie in a half-packed theater, and I only heard a few laughs. The convoluted plot surely helped in watering down the comedy, but it's not the only reason. This movie was made after Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola hit it big with a sold-out concert. The two are now some of the country's largest comedians, and it is easy to see why when you watch them in Eat Bulaga! Yet, they never feel as good in D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers... Weh!?. This is because they were not given a lot of legroom to work their magic. In Eat Bulaga!, they are funny because they are spontaneous and command their jokes. Why were they then forced to act around a lousy script? If the land-grabbing scenario was abandoned, perhaps the two could have much space to inject their kind of humor. Fortunately, a few bright spots exist to brighten the picture. Paolo Ballesteros is surprisingly marvelous as a gay character named Tweety, and he steals each scene he's in. Solenn Heussaff also has funny moments as well. Still, these bright spots are not enough to mask how awful D' Kilabots Pogi Brothers... Weh!? really is.

Kong marami namang nakaharang
Aawit na lang at magpaparinig
Ng lahat ng aking nadarama
Pagbibigyan na lang silang
Magkandarapa na manligaw sayo
Idadaan na lang kita sa awitin kong ito
Sabay ang tugtog ng gitara

Forever's Not Enough

Forever's Not Enough
By:Sarh Geronimo

If I would have to live my life again
I'd stay in love with you the way I've been
Your love is something no one ever can replace
I can't imagine life with someone else
I promise, I will share my life with you
Forever may not be enough it's true
My heart is filled with so much love
I feel for you
No words can say how much I love you so
And if forever's not enough for me to love you
I'd spend another lifetime baby,
If you ask me to
There's nothing I won't do
Forever's not enough for me to love you so
They say tomorrow seems so far away,
And now we see that everything can change
My love for you gets stronger as tomorrow comes
I know this love will stand
The test of time
And if forever's not enough for me to love you
I'd spend another lifetime baby,
If you ask me to
There's nothing I won't do
Forever's not enough for me to love you so
For you, there's nothing I can't do
And never will I ever go
Forever's not enough to love you so
But if forever ends one day
I promise you
I'll stay to show you
That my love will never end...
And if forever's not enough for me to love you
I'd spend another lifetime baby,
If you ask me to
There's nothing I won't do
Forever's not enough to love you so
And if forever's not enough for me to love you
I'd spend another lifetime baby,
If you ask me to
There's nothing I won't do
Forever's not enough for me to love you so.

genuine love

"Genuine Love"

[Chorus:]
Are you happy with me, I just wanna know
is this laughter for real, or is it just for show?
I wanna know , is this genuine love, genuine
is this genuine love?

Do you feel like you did before
or are you just playing with my heart ?
cuz the way that we are today
don't feel like it did from the start
and I don't want this love to end
but I don't wanna pretend
that my lover is just a friend
cuz baby I have no clue

[Chorus:]
Are you happy with me, I just wanna know
is this laughter for real, or is it just for show?
And are you happy with me, I just wanna know
is this laughter for real, or is it just for show ?
I wanna know, is this genuine love, genuine
is this genuine love?

I ask these questions cuz I really care
do you care too?
and in your future there do you see me there
cuz in mine all I see is you, yeah
sorry girl if I'm moving to fast
all I'm trying to do is make this last
let me be your present not your past
girl let me be the one....
let me be the one
are you happry with me?
is this genuine love?
genuine, genuine love

[Chorus:]
Are you happy with me, I just wanna know
is this laughter for real, or is it just for show?
I wanna know, is this genuine love, genuine
is this genuine love?
